The India Portfolio Day is an annual event providing an opportunity for potential students to interact one-on-one with the leading Art & Design Universities from across the globe under one roof! Students get feedback on their portfolios, on-the-spot offers, scholarship information and general admission guidelines to start their applications along with a chance to attend university workshops and presentations with leading universities from across the world. 

After the successful launch of India’s 1st ever Portfolio Day in 2016 and its overwhelming response from institutions and students alike over the past 5 years, Prem N. Kapur has been holding the event annually across different Indian cities. 

Despite lockdowns and Covid restrictions, the event was successfully held virtually in 2020 with 18 institutions participating and over 250 students attending. In order that both the students and the universities didn’t miss out on the opportunity to interact with each other, a 9 day schedule was adapted whereby individual students could still meet with the institution of their choice to discuss their creative pieces. This resulted in over 150 one-on-one successful interviews with many joining the universities as well!
